Fatboy Tim is the festival and club persona of the DJ Timothy Davies, who also performs under the name Tim Nice. The act bills itself as the world's first and only tribute DJ - an affectionate tribute to Fatboy Slim, playing big beat, club classics, festival anthems and what he calls Norman Cook inspired chaos. He has been performing it since 2000 and describes himself as the ultimate Norman Cook-a-like. Norman Cook himself has endorsed it, saying it is 'uncanny and a real honour to be the first DJ to have a tribute act' and that he is 'flattered by your attention to detail'. The act has played All Back to Minehead, Glastonbury, Ibiza, Gatecrasher, Surfstock and the Big Feastival, and has drawn praise from BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM.
