Cliffords are an Irish indie rock band from Cork: Iona Lynch on rhythm guitar and vocals, Harry Menton on lead guitar, Gavin Dawkins on bass and trumpet, Daniel Ryan on drums, and Locon O'Toole on keys since 2023. Ryan and Dawkins met at secondary school and bonded over music, Lynch's writing and vocals came to define the band's sound, and Menton's arrival completed the line-up for their first performance in 2022. They play guitar-driven songs with direct vocals and occasional brass and keys textures, have gigged in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork, released two EPs in Lycaphobia and Strawberry Scented, and in 2025 represented Ireland at The Song 18 with Bittersweet.
