Asha Alice Banks, born 26 November 2003 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, is an English actress and singer-songwriter. She began as a child actress in 2011 with television appearances in EastEnders and Call the Midwife, and played young Eponine in Les Miserables in the West End in 2012 and Violet Beauregarde in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory from 2016 to 2017. On screen she is known for Rebel Cheer Squad (2022) and as Cara Ward in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder from 2024, with films including The Magic Flute (2022), My Fault: London (2025) and Your Fault: London (2026). She turned to music with the self-released single So Green in November 2024, followed by the EPs Untie My Tongue in March 2025 and How Real Was It? in November 2025, and singles Rerun, Mascara Tears and Come Down. She released three collaborative songs as Everything is About You with Novo Amor and Lowswimmer in April 2026. She combines formal theatre training with self-taught guitar.
